My name is Alicen Newman. I have lived in Coalgate most of my life, and am glad to be home. I graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's Degree. This will be my first year teaching Middle School ELA. I can't wait to meet my students and see what this year brings.
Fun facts: I love dance and theater. I was very involved in Coalgate's theater department throughout my high school career. I love spending time with my family and friends. My kids and I are lovers of all animals. I am rarely seen without coffee!
I'm excited to be home and teaching with amazing people who have taught me many lessons.
